The Green Paper, Shaping the Future of Care Together, was published on 14 July. It sets out proposals for a National Care Service for adults in England.
We need to know what people with M.E. think about these proposals, in case the Government phases out some or all of the cash entitlement for extra cost of living incurred through disability.
We are therefore asking people with M.E. to read our briefing paper and complete our consultation survey , which has been produced in collaboration with Disability Alliance and an advisory group of people with M.E.
Responses received by 1 October will inform our campaigning when Government reconvenes from Summer recess. However, the final deadline for all surveys and comments is 2 November.
We will use this information when we respond fully to the public consultation, which ends 13 November.
