Lightening the load
Article about the Lightning Process. Action for M.E. warns that people should examine any claim of recovery with scepticism and that more research is needed. Their 2008 survey found that 53% of people who had tried the Lightning Process found it helpful, 31% reported no change and 16% said it made them worse. Woman found dead days later
Wendy Cleal has been found dead, in her Monmouthshire home, two days after a fire. Wendy became ill with M.E. in 1999 but managed to retrain and work as a massage therapist.

Chocolate
